• Job Enrichment:
It is concerned with designing jobs that include a greater variety of
work content, require higher level of knowledge and skill, gives
workers more autonomy and responsibility and provides opportunity
• for personal growth.
If jobs are enriched and made interesting, the job itself becomes a
source of motivation to the individual.
• Employee Participation:
It refers to involving employees in decision-making of the issues
• related to them.
Employee participation may be in the form of joint management
committees, work committees, etc.
Personal barriers to effective communication:

Fear of challenge to authority

Lack of confidence of superior on his subordinates

Unwillingness to communicate
