For complete combustion of ethanol, C_2 H_5 OH (l)+3 O_2( g ) → 2 CO_2( g )+3 H_2 O (l), the amount of heat produced as measured in bomb calorimeter,…

For complete combustion of ethanol, $\displaystyle \mathrm{C}_2 \mathrm{H}_5 \mathrm{OH}(l)+3 \mathrm{O}_2(\mathrm{~g}) \rightarrow 2 \mathrm{CO}_2(\mathrm{~g})+3 \mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O}(l)$, the amount of heat produced as measured in bomb calorimeter, is $\displaystyle 1364.47 \mathrm{~kJ} \mathrm{~mol}^{-1}$ at $\displaystyle 25$°C. Assuming ideality the Enthalpy of combustion, $\displaystyle \Delta_{\mathrm{c}} \mathrm{H}$, for the reaction will be : $\displaystyle \left(\mathrm{R}=8.314 \mathrm{~kJ} \mathrm{~mol}^{-1}\right)$
