An alpha particle is projected with velocity $\displaystyle \overrightarrow{\mathrm{v}}=\left(3 \cdot 0 \times 10^{5} \mathrm{~m} / \mathrm{s}\right) \hat{\mathrm{i}}$ into a region in which magnetic field $\displaystyle \overrightarrow{\mathrm{B}}=[(0 \cdot 4 \mathrm{~T}) \hat{\mathrm{i}}+(0 \cdot 3 \mathrm{~T}) \hat{\mathrm{j}}]$ exists. Calculate the acceleration of the particle in the region. $\displaystyle \hat{\mathrm{i}}, \hat{\mathrm{j}}$ and $\displaystyle \hat{k}$ are unit vectors along $\displaystyle \mathrm{x}, \mathrm{y}$ and z axis respectively and charge to mass ratio for alpha particle is $\displaystyle 4.8 \times 10^{7} \mathrm{C} / \mathrm{kg}$.
