(a)
The data shows that self-employment is the major source of livelihood for both men and women, accounting for over $\displaystyle 50$% of the workforce for both male ($\displaystyle 51$%) and female ($\displaystyle 56$%) workers. Casual wage labour emerges as the second largest category, with $\displaystyle 29$% of men and $\displaystyle 31$% of women engaged in it. Regular salaried employment is more prevalent among men ($\displaystyle 20$%) compared to women ($\displaystyle 13$%).
