competent personnel for various jobs but also ensures some more
benefits to the organisation. State any four such benefits.

Benefits of filling vacancies for various job positions from
within the organisation:
(i)
It simplifies the process of selection and placement. It is the more
reliable way of recruitment since candidates are already known to the
organisation.
(ii)
People recruited from within the organization do not need
induction training.
(iii)
It has the benefit of shifting workforce from the surplus
department to those where there is shortage of staff.
(iv)
It motivates the employees to improve their performance
and get a chance of promotion at higher level.

It is a cheaper source as compared to getting candidates from
