Differentiate between nuclear fission and nuclear fusion. Give one example for each with nuclear reaction.

Nuclear fission is the decay of a heavy nucleus into two or more intermediate mass fragments, whereas in nuclear fusion light nuclei fuse into a heavier nucleus.
