    Pure gold is very soft as compared to gold alloyed with silver or copper. Thus for providing strength to gold, it is alloyed.

    Sucrose is one chemical compound, \(\displaystyle \text{C}_{12}\text{H}_{22}\text{O}_{11}\), whichever plant it comes from -- sugarcane and beetroot sucrose have the identical fixed composition.
