Given below are two statements: one is labelled as Assertion A and the other is labelled as Reason R.Assertion A: $\displaystyle \mathrm{SO}_2(\mathrm{~g})$ is adsorbed to a larger extent than $\displaystyle \mathrm{H}_2(\mathrm{~g})$ on activated charcoal.
Reason R: $\displaystyle \mathrm{SO}_2(\mathrm{~g})$ has a higher critical temperature than $\displaystyle \mathrm{H}_2(\mathrm{~g})$.
In the light of the above statements, choose the most appropriate answer from the options given below.
