(a) • To avoid graft rejection
Grafts would be rejected because of mismatch of blood groups or tissues / the body is able to differentiate between 'self' and 'non-self' leading to rejection / the cell-mediated response of T-lymphocytes will lead to graft or organ be rejected.
(b) Immuno-suppresants / Immuno-suppressive agents / Cyclosporin A
