Marking-scheme solution
Formation of lactic acid in muscles causes cramps.
Aerobic respiration takes place in the presence of oxygen whereas the respiration taking place above is due to lack of oxygen. / End products of aerobic respiration are \(\displaystyle \mathrm{CO}_{2}+\mathrm{H}_{2} \mathrm{O}+\) Energy whereas in the above case, Lactic acid + Energy is formed.
Tissue fluid / Extracellular fluid Functions :
i. Carries digested and absorbed fats from the intestine.
ii. Drains excess fluid from extracellular space back into the blood.
iii. Fight against infections.
