Statement I :
Primary aliphatic amines react with $\displaystyle \mathrm{HNO}_2$ to give unstable diazonium salts.
Statement II :
Primary aromatic amines react with $\displaystyle \mathrm{HNO}_2$ to form diazonium salts which are stable even above $\displaystyle 300$ K .
