(i) On dilution, degree of ionization increases for weak \(\displaystyle \mathrm{CH}_{3} \mathrm{COOH}\) whereas \(\displaystyle \mathrm{CH}_{3} \mathrm{COONa}\) is strong electrolyte and almost completely dissociated / Graphical explanation.
(ii) Electrochemical cell will start functioning as electrolytic cell / cell reaction is reversed.
