It denotes the limit of the maximum number of individuals of a species
(population) that a habitat can support with the available resources.
(b)
Growth Curve is called Verhulst Pearl Logistic Growth
A population growing in a habitat with limited resources shows a lag phase initially, it is followed by acceleration and deceleration and finally an asymptote.
We get a Sigmoid Curve
N= Population at time t
r = Intrinsic rate of natural increase
K= Carrying capacity
