Dormancy is crucial for storage (dehydration) of seeds to be used to raise the crops in next season / Seeds are used as source of food / for commercial purpose
(ii)

| No endosperm is left in the seed as it is fully consumed during embryo development. | It contains some amount of endosperm as it is not consumed completely during embryo development. |
