Mycorrhiza (Fungal symbiont of the association) Absorb phosphorus from soil and these nutrients are passed on to the host plant.
(b)
Anabaena – Fix atmospheric nitrogen and adds organic matter to the soil, thereby increasing soil fertility.

Rhizobium – Fix atmospheric nitrogen (in leguminous plants) into organic form which is used by the plant as nutrient.
