Marking-scheme solution
(a) •Contact inhibition-The property of normal cells by virtue of which contact with other cells inhibits their uncontrolled growth.
Normal cells do not grow any further till 'in contact with other cells', whereas cancerous cells lost this property and continue to divide to form tumor.
(b) ●Destroys tumor
Activates the immune system of patients.
