(i) Increased requirement of institutions /organisations like hospitals, schools, banks etc.
(ii) Development of agriculture and industry has increased the demand for the development of infra structure.
(iii) Rise in income levels have led to an increase in demand of services, like transport, shopping, hotels and restaurants.
(iv) Improvement in communication and technology has facilitated trade and commerce. This has led to a need for growth in the tertiary sector.
