(a) • Atomic size of A is greater than atomic size of B - Atomic size decreases in moving from left to right along a period due to increased effective nuclear charge.
(b) • Metallic character of A is more than metallic character of B.
Because the tendency to lose electrons decreases from left to right along a period.
