Marking-scheme solution
(a) Fleming's Left hand rule
Statement : Stretch the thumb, fore figure and the middle figure of your left hand such that they are mutually perpendicular. If the first finger points in the direction of field (F) and the second finger in the direction of current, then the thumb will point in the direction of the force acting on the conductor.
(b) (i) Maximum in Case III - Magnetic field and current/motion of charge are perpendicular to each other.
(ii)
Minimum in Case I Magnetic field and current/motion of charge are parallel to each other.
