Marking-scheme solution
(a) (i) Scattering of light is not prominent at such heights.
(ii) The red colour is least scattered by smoke or fog. / Red colour has longer wavelength.

Rainbow is a natural spectrum appearing in the sky after a rain shower.
After rain, small water droplets act as a tiny prism, when light enters, it gets refracted and dispersed.
