(i) $\displaystyle 3$
(ii) (a) $\displaystyle 173250$=$\displaystyle 2$ × \(\displaystyle 5^{3} \times 3^{2} \times 7 \times 11\) Number of students in the class \(\displaystyle =3+2+1+1=7\)

(ii) (b) \(\displaystyle 173250=2 \times 5^{3} \times 3^{2} \times 7 \times 11\) Highest prime number used by students = $\displaystyle 11$
