In an experiment of throwing a die, Assertion (A) : Event $\displaystyle \mathrm{E}_{1}$ : getting a number less than $\displaystyle 3$ and Event $\displaystyle \mathrm{E}_{2}$ : getting a number greater than $\displaystyle 3$ are complementary events. Reason (R) : If two events E and F are complementary events, then $\displaystyle \mathrm{P}(\mathrm{E})+\mathrm{P}(\mathrm{F})=1$.
