p\left(x^{2}-6 x+8\right)+x^{2}-2 x+1=0 \\
(p+1) x^{2}-(6 p+2) x+(8 p+1)=0 \\
a=p+1, b=6 p+2, c=8 p+1

\therefore D= & 0 \Rightarrow b^{2}-4 a c=0 \\
\Rightarrow \quad & (6 p+2)^{2}-4(p+1)(8 p+1)=0 \\

& 4 p^{2}-12 p=0 \Rightarrow 4 p(p-3)=0 \\
